"Caring for your HEART with our HEARTS."® Since 1993.

July 20 , A Milestone to Celebrate !!!

July 20, 1985, 39 years ago today , I landed on the US soil ( coincidentally also marks the day man landed on the moon). Just as Lewis and Clark decided to explore the west in 1804 beginning their journey from St Louis on the Mississippi River , after the 1803 US completion of Louisiana Purchase . As fate would have it , I too determined to explore the west after a break up with my girlfriend in New Delhi during medical school and landed in US 39 years ago today at the age of 24.

Destiny would lead me to finally settle in Houston in July 1992 after finishing my Internal Medicine Residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn and Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. On July 1, 1993 at age 32, I founded Cardiology Center of Houston and with blessings of Almighty God, we crossed an amazing landmark caring for 100,000 patients across dozen states and dozen countries on February 29, 2024 with our amazing team at Cardiology Center of Houston along with our very recent partnership with US Heart and Vascular.

In 2005, I met the L❤️ve of my life in St Louis ( Meet me in St Louis : Theme of World Fair 1904) and the rest is history.

I am eternally grateful to GOD and this beautiful country for giving me the amazing opportunities here in the US and to my Mother land India for giving me the strong roots . I will always be very grateful to my parents and teachers who taught me the fundamentals of life to work hard, be kind , be compassionate , be humble , have integrity and always have the incessant desire to learn and grow . Also , extremely grateful to receive genuine blessings from thousands of patients and best wishes and love from our family and friends . We will continue our mission “Caring for your Heart with our Hearts “ with divine guidance and philosophy of “ I Treat, HE Cures “.

I have no doubt, I was born to be a Cardiologist ( decided in 8th grade that I wanted to become a Cardiologist). Hope to continue to serve our patients for the next several decades as we simply L❤️VE caring for our patients each and every day, one patient at a time .

Medicine does runs in my veins and my passion for medicine continues to grow even more today than yesterday even after completing 32 years of practice!!!
