Getting answers about your health shouldn’t involve long waits or unnecessary complexity. At Cardiology Center of Houston, we provide a full range of in-office testing and advanced diagnostics to evaluate your heart, arteries and veins — quickly and accurately.
Most diagnostic services can be completed in our offices, using modern technology and experienced clinical teams to deliver timely results and clear next steps. When additional imaging or hospital-based testing is needed, our physicians coordinate and oversee your care across our network of trusted hospital partners in Katy and Houston, ensuring continuity and confidence every step of the way.
From routine screenings to advanced imaging and heart rhythm monitoring, our focus is simple: fast answers, accurate diagnoses, and a clear path forward.
We offer the following tests and advanced diagnostics:
Electrocardiogram (EKG)
An electrocardiogram (EKG) is a non-invasive test that records the electrical signals traveling through your heart and measures the timing and strength of these impulses.
Echocardiogram
An echocardiogram is a non-invasive ultrasound test that uses high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of your beating heart. It allows evaluation of your heart’s structure, pumping function, and the condition of its valves.
PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography + CT Scan)
PET/CT combines the power of PET imaging with a CT scan to create a precise, 3‑D picture of your heart and blood flow.
SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography)
SPECT is a heart‑imaging test that shows how well blood flows to your heart muscle. This helps detect reduced blood flow, prior heart damage, or blockages that may need treatment. It’s painless, safe, and done right in our office.
Cardiac Catheterization
A minimally invasive test using contrast dye and imaging to show how well your heart and blood vessels are working.
Treadmill Stress Test
Evaluates heart function during exercise or medication-induced stress.
Holter Monitoring
If you experience symptoms of heart disease but a standard electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) can’t detect the cause, Holter monitoring could provide the answers.
Advanced Lipid Testing
A blood test that may be recommended to help optimize cholesterol treatment.
